we do have that northbound 101 direction through sunnyvale just around lawrence expressway. this big rig smashed into a pole and there's a respectured fuel tank. you can see it down in the lower portion behind the cab. the firefighters standing there are for safety sake and one of them has a hand siphon. i saw them approach the tank and i think they are thinking about pumping it out before they remove the big rig. they are not moving it and they're going to get consultation an how to handle this situation. the map shows you the backup as you approach and this is early for any slowing for northbound 101 as you approach lawrence up toward fair oaks. if you get on, you're okay through the area. rest of the south bay has typical slowing for construction zones. no full closures as far as freeways go and that's good news. interchange from 280 to north 85 with crews on the connector ramp. in oakland we have another crash northbound 880 at fifth. reports are there may be a couple lanes blocked because there's a fuel spill associated with this crash. we don't see any real slowing and
